Rotterdam Ahoy is easily accessible by bus, metro, and train. From the Zuidplein bus and metro station you can walk to Ahoy in just 5 minutes!

By bike

Do you live in Rotterdam or the surrounding area? Come by bike! It's healthy, easy, and sustainable. You can conveniently park your bike in our free (unsupervised) bike parking area at the front of Ahoy.

Are you arriving by train and want to travel further from Rotterdam Central Station? Try a shared bike or scooter! Rotterdam has many providers, and you'll always find some available at major arrival locations. Check the apps and websites of all providers. Be sure to check the drop-off location beforehand: for some events, you may not be able to park directly at the entrance. Check rotterdam.nl/deelvervoer!

Own parking

You can reach Rotterdam Ahoy via the Rotterdam South Ring (A15). If there are any special conditions or roadworks, this is often indicated on the Rotterdam Ahoy website. Before you get in the car, always check vanAnaarBeter or Rotterdam Onderweg to avoid any unpleasant surprises.

With more than 2,500 parking spaces, Ahoy offers plenty of room for parking your car. We are also working on a large parking garage to provide even more space in the future. Parking at Ahoy costs €21.00 per event day. If you book in advance it's €20.00 Our parking spaces are accessible via Ahoyweg and Zuiderparkweg. Via Ahoyweg generally allows for the quickest parking.

Do you want to be assured of a parking spot upon arrival? Reserve in advance for €20.00. This guarantees access to the parking area, even if the signs in the area indicate "FULL." A parking guarantee ticket is valid on the event day from 05:00 AM until 05:00 AM the next day.

• Alternative parking spaces
  P+R

  P+R Want to park for free and travel to Ahoy by public transport? Great plan! P+R Slinge is just one metro stop away from Zuidplein/Ahoy. Check all locations here.

  If you travel from a P+R location with an OV-Chipkaart, you can park for free. Please note: this does not yet work with OV-Pay!

  Other parking options

  If our parking lot is full (and you do not have a pre-purchased parking guarantee ticket), you can go to Q-Park Zuidplein or Q-Park Ikazia. If these garages are also full, you can try parking at P+R Slinge. For some events, you can also park at the Cilinderstraat Parking Garage.

• Disabled parking spaces

  Do you have a disabled/handicapped parking permit (the blue card)? Then you are always entitled to a parking space at Ahoy. We have 18 handicapped parking spaces at the beginning of our large parking area. Even when the parking lot is marked as "FULL,” we will find a spot for you. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a parking space close to the entrance, but we will do our best to assist you as much as possible.

• Parking with a touring car / large bus

  Are you coming with a touring car or large bus that does not fit in a single parking space? Then, for most events, we cannot offer a parking guarantee. You can try driving to the North Entrance, where you can report to our traffic controllers. They will check if there is space for the touring car or large bus. If there is space, parking costs €50 per event day. If there is no space, you can drop off your passengers at the front of Ahoy and then park at one of the truck parking lots in Rotterdam.

• Kiss and Ride

  Are you being dropped off or picked up? Then navigate to the front of Ahoy. Here, traffic controllers will direct you to a temporary parking spot where the driver can drop you off and pick you up (a maximum of 15 minutes of waiting at the Kiss and Ride).

• Parking with a hotel stay

  Are you staying at a hotel after the event and leaving your car at Ahoy? Then you will have to pay the parking fee twice (once for the event, once for the next day). We recommend taking your car to the hotel and using alternative transportation to get to Ahoy. Are you staying at the "IBIS Styles Rotterdam Ahoy” hotel? Then you can leave your car at Ahoy. You do not need to order a parking guarantee ticket in advance; you pay for the parking ticket directly at the hotel. You will pay €21.00 for parking at the event, or €20.00 when you purchase a parking ticket in advance, including the hotel stay, which allows you to leave until 12:00 PM the next day. After that, you will still need to pay the fee twice.

• No charging stations for electric cars available

  Unfortunately, there are no charging stations for electric cars available at Rotterdam Ahoy. There are electric charging stations available in Q-park Zuidplein.

By taxi

If you’re taking a taxi, you’ll find an Uber pickup point next to the forecourt. There’s also a taxi stand at the Forecourt of Ahoy, where certified taxis from Rotterdam taxi companies are waiting for you.

At large-scale events, there are often dozens of taxis waiting, so booking in advance is usually not necessary and you can get in straight away.

Do you use Bolt? These taxis are usually located on Twentestraat. Please check your exact pick-up location carefully in advance. 

Kiss and Ride
