Rotterdam Half Marathon

On Sunday 20 September, the very first Rotterdam Half finishes inside Rotterdam Ahoy. The brand-new half marathon, which sold out within fifteen minutes, takes 7,000 runners along a fast, officially certified 21.1-kilometre course straight through Rotterdam-Zuid and the port area. Starting at the Maassilo, the route passes Rotterdam icons: across Katendrecht past the SS Rotterdam, along the quays of the Waalhaven and through the Zuiderpark, towards a spectacular finale in Ahoy. Along the way, brass bands, DJs and on-course activations bring festival energy, because the Rotterdam Half is more than a race: it's top-level sport with the vibe of a city-wide celebration. From competitive runners to recreational athletes, from supporters to spectators. At the finish in Ahoy, all of running Rotterdam comes together to celebrate, connect and soak up the atmosphere.
