The Harlem Globetrotters 100 Year Tour
The world-famous Harlem Globetrotters bring their 100 Year Tour to Rotterdam’s RTM Stage on Friday, October 2, 2026. The iconic basketball troupe celebrates a century of entertainment, athleticism, and showmanship with an all-new anniversary show. Rotterdam will be the only Dutch stop during this special tour. Since 1926, the Harlem Globetrotters have been known for their unique blend of top-level basketball, comedy, and dazzling entertainment. Over the decades, the virtuosos have drawn tens of millions of fans worldwide and have had a major influence on the sport of basketball. During the 100 Year Tour, the Globetrotters will face their long-time rivals, the Washington Generals, wearing brand-new anniversary uniforms. The show will also feature new elements and surprises, such as the Golden Basketball by Spalding® and the popular 5th Quarter autograph session, free for all fans. A century of sports history The impact of the Harlem Globetrotters extends far beyond the court. Take Nat "Sweetwater” Clifton, for example — he was the first African-American basketball player to sign an NBA contract after his Globetrotter career. The legendary Wilt Chamberlain also once played for the Harlem team — and later became the only player ever to score 100 points in a single NBA game. With legends like these, the team has played — and continues to play — an important role in the development and popularization of basketball around the globe. Their current roster has amassed more than 60 Guinness World Records — including 18 in the past year alone — and continues to reinvent the unique Globetrotters style.
