The American emo rock band My Chemical Romance is coming to Rotterdam Ahoy on 2 June 2022. The show is part of the European leg of their reunion tour, and will be the biggest concert the band ever gave in the Netherlands.
New Jersey-based My Chemical Romance broke up in 2013, but announced their reunion in late 2019, much to the delight of their fans. The band's last performance in the Netherlands was back in 2011. "We're so happy to announce that (yet again) our UK and European shows have been rescheduled, and we are adding some new dates. We cannot wait to visit some of our favorite cities in the world, and to be with you again ," the band said. My Chemical Romance had great success with the singles 'Helena', 'I'm Not Okay (I Promise)', 'Welcome to the Black Parade', 'Teenagers', 'Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)' and many more. The release of their third album The Black Parade in 2006 catapulted the band to the premier league of emo rock - a status they have always maintained.
