Renske Satijn, director of Rotterdam Festivals, one of the four partners of Host City Rotterdam: "Now that the world can’t come to Rotterdam, we will bring Rotterdam to the world! This idea inspired us to build this unique platform. I am incredibly proud of the fact that we have built the world’s first ever Online Eurovision Village.”

"This year, a larger and more wide-ranging audience will be able to celebrate together. We aim to let online visitors enjoy the true Eurovision Song Contest vibes by offering them a great mix of live shows, guided tours and content that you simply don’t want to miss. Most of the content can be enjoyed as often as you like, but a few big events are live and a once-in-a-lifetime experience. You do really want to be part of this, trust me! I am very pleased to invite everyone to visit the first ever Online Eurovision Village.”

Rotterdam’s icons

The virtual village has been designed, built and filled with awesome digital content by Rotterdam Festivals, entertainment agency Tribe Company and DEPT digital agency. In the 3D map of Rotterdam, you will recognise the city’s main icons, such as the Euromast Tower and the brand new and sparkly Depot of museum Boijmans Van Beuningen. You will also find detailed content about many highlights, cultural characteristics and talented citizens of Rotterdam.

City Program
As Host City Partner, Rotterdam Festivals is also responsible for the City Program. With a creative and mainly online program, the city of Rotterdam will showcase its many talents. More than 50 organisations and cultural institutions are offering a wide range of events from open studios and singing competitions to music in playgrounds and mosques.
