As an international venue we follow the guidelines of the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment and GGD Rotterdam-Rijnmond. During the press moment on Tuesday 15 March, the good news came out that the latest measures are also being expired! Easing of restrictions will take effect from March 23. Below we describe what this means for the events in Ahoy:

Untill March 23

  • For events up to 500 people, it is no longer mandatory to wear a mouth mask, have a fixed seat and keep a distance of 1.5 meters.
  • For events with more than 500 people, it is mandatory to have a fixed seat and to wear a mouth mask when moving around.
  • At flow-through events, such as trade shows and conventions, wearing a mouth mask is mandatory.

At all events, the corona-check is used: visitors over 13 years of age must prove that they have been vaccinated, recently tested negative or recovery from covid-19.

As of March 23

  • As of March 23, pre-admission testing (1G) will also expire. When visiting an event in Rotterdam Ahoy, there are no longer any corona measures imposed by the government. Therefore it is no longer mandatory to show a negative test result. Of course we still ask you to follow the basic rules.

Booster location

Rotterdam Ahoy also remains open as a booster location.

Hoi! I'm Joy

Do you like my outfit? These are my "Don't get too close clothes". It's a reminder to keep a bit of distance: 1.5 metre, like my outfit.

Small effort, great impact. It's time for Joy! See you soon at Ahoy.
