Shawn Mendes - Wonder: The World Tour

Due to the continuing demand for tickets, pop sensation Shawn Mendes is adding an extra show in the Netherlands to his world tour. He will come to Rotterdam Ahoy on Wednesday 13 April 2022 as part of his Wonder: The World Tour to Rotterdam Ahoy. The show in Rotterdam is his third show in the Netherlands, because on Sunday, April 17, 2022 and Monday, April 18, 2022, Mendes is also performing at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam.

To celebrate his 23rd birthday, Shawn Mendes released the single 'Summer of Love' last summer, for which he collaborated with Puerto Rican artist Tainy. This hit is the follow-up to his fourth album 'Wonder', which was released in December 2020. On the upcoming Wonder: The World Tour, he will be joined by queer pop icon King Princess, known for her debut single '1950' among others. In anticipation of this long-awaited tour, fans were given a glimpse into the life of the global star with the documentary Shawn Mendes: In Wonder in November 2020. In it, Shawn Mendes talks candidly about his star status, relationships and musical future. His latest world tour, the making-of of 'Wonder' and his ex-lover Camila Cabello, with whom he recorded the steamy 'Señorita', are also discussed.

Since his breakthrough in 2015 with hit single 'Stitches', Shawn Mendes has been an integral part of the contemporary pop landscape. In the Netherlands, he scored major radio hits with songs such as 'There's Nothing Holding Me Back', 'Senorita', 'If I Can't Have You' and 'In My Blood'.
